Part 1<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Each time I hold my <a href=\"http:\/\/kerryaclark.com\/familyplan\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Family Plan<\/a>\u00a0in my hands, I&#8217;m amazed at its content. \u00a0No matter what section, I see progress, where we were, where we are now and where we intend to go. \u00a0The process works. \u00a0Over the last several weeks we spent a lot of time talking about various banking strategies, tips you can use to help manage what you have. \u00a0The previous set of posts and this set are both apart of the section of the <a href=\"http:\/\/kerryaclark.com\/familyplan\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Family Plan<\/a> called, &#8220;Accounting\/Fiscal: <a href=\"http:\/\/kerryaclark.com\/our-secrets-are-now-your-secrets\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">How We Manage Our Resources<\/a>&#8220;. \u00a0\u00a0In this post, we will discuss budgeting, but before we do, I know how much of a disappointment hearing that word can be. \u00a0So pretend that I didn&#8217;t use the word. \u00a0Do you invest in IRA&#8217;s and 401k accounts? \u00a0Do you have money tied up in loans to family members? \u00a0Where is your money? \u00a0We know where (exactly) ours is.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><em><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Where Does My Money Go?<\/span><\/em><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">I didn&#8217;t know this at first but the best question I ever asked myself was this one. \u00a0Where does my money, our money go? \u00a0My wife, who handled the finances, struggled each month to give a good explanation of how our money seemed to disappear. \u00a0I knew what she brought in and I knew what I brought in. \u00a0I even knew where it all was. \u00a0What I didn&#8217;t know is where it was going? \u00a0To end our monthly frustrations, I set out on a journey to find our money. \u00a0You will never guess in a million years what we discovered! \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If you had to guess, where does the largest chunk of your income go?
