Facilities: How You Maintain Your Dwelling<\/span><\/h2>\n

Today we get to start a new (next) section of the family plan. \u00a0Let me introduce you to the section we call, \u201cFacilities: How You Maintain Your Dwelling.\u201d \u00a0In this section, we will discuss how we maintain what we possess.<\/span>
\n<\/span>
\n<\/span>How we maintain our family\u2019s possessions?<\/b>
\n<\/b>What do I mean by this? \u00a0If you\u2019re new to the family plan or need a reminder, what I mean by this is how do you plan to handle what you currently possess and will possess. \u00a0Do you even know what\u2019s currently yours? What are you responsible for? Do you have a list of everything you own? Have you ever stated your desire to make improvements or obtain a new home, car, boat, ATV, computer, etc.? \u00a0All of this qualifies and a plan is the most helpful way to obtain and maintain it all.<\/span>
\n<\/span>
\n<\/span>\"\"A good plan, always starts with the current location. \u00a0I call it your <\/span>present state<\/span><\/a>. \u00a0Define what it looks like today. \u00a0\u00a0Over the course of this message series, we will speak to the details you can add and provide examples. \u00a0\u00a0Next, you\u2019ll want to define the <\/span>future state<\/span><\/a> or destination. \u00a0What do you desire it to look like? \u00a0The plan, however, is the outline or map to get from the current location to your destination.<\/span>
\n<\/span>
\n<\/span>A note to consider: don\u2019t get bogged down in defining a future state that may take several years. \u00a0It\u2019s okay, the plan still works no matter how long it takes to reach the destination. Like any journey, you\u2019ll make stops along the way and that\u2019s why planning is so necessary. \u00a0<\/span>
\n<\/span>
\n<\/span>The Benefits of a Facilities Plan<\/b>
\n<\/b>I didn\u2019t realize this until Pamela and I put a facilities plan-of-action in place, but progress is much faster when you have a written plan. \u00a0Sharing your plan with your family, launches it into motion and reduces procrastination greatly. You want to get something done? Don\u2019t skip the planning phase, it will move you along faster than you would without one. \u00a0<\/span>
\n<\/span>
\n<\/span>A facilities plan will not only keep you on track, but ensure that the family is on the very same page. \u00a0It leaves no room for misunderstanding of what\u2019s happening or what\u2019s expected at the end.<\/span>
\n<\/span>

\n<\/span>We\u2019re beginning the section on how to create a facilities plan for your family, your life, your business. \u00a0\u00a0It\u2019s a plan for your possessions; what you currently possess and what you plan to possess. This type plan takes the talking and moves it to doing. \u00a0<\/span>
