Have you ever heard the term \u201cD.I.Y.\u201d? \u00a0Sure you have. We are in the middle of the \u201cDo It Yourself (D.I.Y.)\u201d movement. \u00a0It\u2019s happening all around us from DIY home improvements to getting your DIY degree.<\/span>

\n<\/span>In this web-post, we\u2019re not just going to talk about DIY home improvements, we\u2019re taking it to a much broader level. \u00a0In this post, we\u2019re going to introduce you to the DIY for planning your home. It\u2019s like the \u201cdo it yourself\u201c plan to make changes, updates, and improvements to not just your physical home, but your all encompassing home.<\/span>

\n<\/span>Let me say it this way. \u00a0<\/span>You should have a DIY plan to change your life.<\/strong> \u00a0And by the way, <\/span>your life, your home, your business isn\u2019t going to change until you \u201cdo it yourself<\/strong>.<\/strong>\u201d \u00a0<\/span>

\nI know when you hear home improvements and DIY, you think about your physical home and it\u2019s physical changes. \u00a0You think about picking up your hammer and your drill, but I\u2019m talking about much more than this. I\u2019m talking about putting together a plan for your dream lifestyle. \u00a0I want you to start planning for that dream of how you wish to live. Maybe today you live in a 2 story home, but your ideal home is a one story house. Maybe you live in a neighborhood with hundreds of homes and you can reach your hand out the window and touch your neighbors home, but you desire to live far out with 10\u2019s of acres. \u00a0I\u2019m talking about planning, not just a simple DIY project to change out the countertops in your kitchen. Although that too can be apart of the plan. You need a plan and a place to store every idea, dream, and goal you wish to have, make, or accomplish when it comes to your home.<\/span>

\n<\/span>It\u2019s a makeover of the total home experience.<\/strong>
\nWill you be like most (and you know how I feel about being like most-common) and get 10 years down the road and say to yourselves, I had plans to do \u201cthat\u201d one day? \u00a0What you mean is you had hoped to do it because you never had a plan and if it\u2019s not written, you don\u2019t have one. A former CEO, I worked for used to say this all the time, \u201c<\/span>if it isn\u2019t written; it doesn\u2019t exist<\/strong>.<\/b>\u201d \u00a0The stuff you want to do in life, with your home, isn\u2019t important to anyone but you and <\/span>if you don\u2019t \u201cdo it yourself\u201d, I can assure you it won\u2019t get done<\/strong>.<\/b> \u00a0Change all that today. \u00a0<\/span>

\n<\/span>You\u2019d have a smaller more manageable yard to care for. \u00a0<\/span>
\n<\/span>You\u2019d have more space for your kids. \u00a0<\/span>
\n<\/span>You\u2019d not have to get in and out of your car in the weather. \u00a0<\/span>
\n<\/span>You\u2019d have exactly what you\u2019d desire. \u00a0<\/span>
\n<\/span>It\u2019s never too late to have what you desire, but you must plan for it.<\/strong>
