Let me add, if you have a &#8220;<\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/www.kerryaclark.com\/blog\/reach-your-dreams-in-just-a-few-minutes-a-week\/#SmartPhone\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">smartphone<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201d, there is no excuse.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If these situations plague you and your family, then you need the tools I\u2019m getting ready to share. &nbsp;But before I do, let me give you a tip that\u2019s free and very useful for any individual or family. Because most people have gmail accounts, they also have access to all the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/about.google\/products\/?modal_active=none\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">free tools that Google offers<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. &nbsp;You might be spending big dollars or small dollars on tools that come free with your gmail account. &nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Now for the tools you could use and why.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><b>Shared calendar. <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&nbsp;A shared calendar is the answer for any family whose members have busy schedules. &nbsp;We created our first shared calendar using <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/calendar\/about\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Google calendar<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. &nbsp;&nbsp;It\u2019s free, it\u2019s easy, and it syncs with all our devices (mobile and stationary). &nbsp;&nbsp;It wasn\u2019t until last year that we decided to go with <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.office.com\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Microsoft Outlook calendar<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. &nbsp;Once we tried it, we were sold and it\u2019s free, but more importantly it&#8217;s \u201c<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/products.office.com\/en-us\/outlook\/email-and-calendar-software-microsoft-outlook\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Outlook<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201d. &nbsp;Remember I\u2019m not trying to sell you our tools, but rather giving you ideas for finding the best tool to support your family, your life, your business.<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">With a shared calendar you can add activities that everyone needs to see and know such as:<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">School calendars<\/span><\/li>\n<li>Special events, celebrations, and special days<\/li>\n<li>Birthdays and anniversaries<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The family\u2019s annual calendar for vacation plans and other family activities.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Just like any other calendar, it\u2019s available on your devices and you can see in a quick glance what\u2019s going on in your life, your home, your business. <\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><b>Shared email address.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> &nbsp;A shared email address becomes import when different family members manage different responsibilities and wish to include the family. &nbsp;I guess you\u2019re wondering how that\u2019s done. We did it in two ways:<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A shared gmail account. &nbsp;The easiest and 1st way we created a shared email address has been through Google&#8217;s gmail. &nbsp;We created an account for our family and each person has access to it. This way emails for things like bills and family subscriptions go to everyone and ensures someone sees it.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A family distribution list. &nbsp;Because we have our own platforms, we can create our own email addresses. &nbsp;With that comes the ability to create email addresses that can forward to each of our personal email addresses respectively. &nbsp;We feel this is the better options so that we don\u2019t have to manage multiple inboxes.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Before we can leave this topic, we must discuss \u201cthe annual review.\u201d &nbsp;Every family needs a time to review what it does. Just like any great company, you need time to reflect on loses and accomplishments, what went well, and what didn\u2019t.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Today is Friday!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Since we\u2019re discussing calendar tips and email hacks, you need to add this to your yearly review process. &nbsp;We always ask ourselves, what went well and what didn\u2019t work so well.
