Part 3\u00a0\u2013 How Many Pastors Can You Have?<\/h3>\n

In our family plan, Pamela and I take the time to document every detail which possibly impacts our lives. \u00a0In this post we discuss our pastors, another name for our church leaders, and what they mean and how they influence our lives. \u00a0Yes, that was pastors, plural. \u00a0We have pastors not because Pamela attends one\u00a0church and I attend another. \u00a0We have pastors because we believe that God gives us these gifts and not just one but many<\/a>. \u00a0It’s my belief that a pastor has certain gifts that only he\/she has that’s unique to them as an individual. \u00a0We have 4 that have and continue to add value to our lives in various ways. \u00a0We’ve found that pastors can also be like presidents, they serve their terms for your life and you need someone else to take you the rest of the way.<\/p>\n

In this post, we want to give you some ideas when it comes to outlining what you believe and a strategy for your family regarding the execution of the religious parts of your lives.<\/p>\n

These religious leaders influence our spiritual growth and development as it relates to the executive administration of our home, our business. \u00a0We make sure we hear from these gifted men with regularity. \u00a0In fact, more times than not, we hear messages several times a week. \u00a0Let me explain in just a little more detail.<\/p>\n

\nAs we talk about each, know that there is no particular ranking of our pastors. \u00a0However, each are\u00a0unique and add a different flavor<\/a> to the sum of our lives.<\/p>\n

Let’s start with George M. Matthews II<\/a>. \u00a0We often referred to him as our “foundational leader”. \u00a0We credit him for bringing the Bible to life<\/span> for us and providing the primary foundation for our spiritual lives.<\/p>\n

General leadership<\/strong>
\nIf this next pastor was closer, I’d be a member of his church<\/a>\u00a0for sure. \u00a0Craig Groeschel<\/a>\u00a0is my all purpose pastor<\/span>. \u00a0His uncommon approach speaks to my life’s purpose. \u00a0He doesn’t let ordinary, average, normal get in the way of how church is done. \u00a0He will do anything short of sinning to win people to Christ.<\/p>\n

Local leadership<\/strong>
\nWe believe every person needs a local church. \u00a0Hear what I am saying, not what I’m not saying. \u00a0Everyone needs a local church, but not just any church will do. \u00a0You see not to get too deep, if you want deep visit my nolongercommon.com blog site<\/a>, \u00a0the fellowship of Christ is diverse<\/a>. \u00a0One church does not fit all. \u00a0Our local church is Church of the Highlands<\/a>\u00a0where Chris Hodges <\/a>serves as church leader. \u00a0This is where we physically attend services. \u00a0He brings the seriousness of church<\/span> back to me that I held dear when growing up. \u00a0Pastor Chris reminds us of the importance of church and that we are indeed the church.<\/p>\n

Inspiration leadership<\/strong>
\nI’ve been following this one guy for many years. \u00a0I admire how he makes God attractive. \u00a0He paints God in the appropriate light, good. \u00a0Joel Osteen<\/a> makes me proud to be a member of any church. \u00a0A few years ago, Pamela noticed how excited I get when we hear Joel Osteen deliver God\u2019s Word. \u00a0Joel shares God\u2019s goodness and reminds us that He wants nothing but good things for us. \u00a0With such positive teaching<\/span> we decided that we should add him to our list of pastors-church leaders. \u00a0Needless to say, we did and have never looked back.<\/p>\n

The purpose of this blog post is not to convince you to follow our pastor(s) or persuade you to attend their churches, but rather to remind you that we all need someone to help guide us on our journey called life. \u00a0Take the examples we’ve given and use them to make your own.<\/p>\n
