Matthews II<\/a>. \u00a0We often referred to him as our &#8220;foundational leader&#8221;. \u00a0We credit him for <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">bringing the Bible to life<\/span> for us and providing the primary foundation for our spiritual lives.<\/p>\n<p><strong>General leadership<\/strong><br \/>\nIf this next pastor was closer, I&#8217;d be a member of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.life.church\/\" target=\"_blank\">his church<\/a>\u00a0for sure. \u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/craiggroeschelbooks.com\/about\/\" target=\"_blank\">Craig Groeschel<\/a>\u00a0is my <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">all purpose pastor<\/span>. \u00a0His uncommon approach speaks to my life&#8217;s purpose. \u00a0He doesn&#8217;t let ordinary, average, normal get in the way of how church is done. \u00a0He will do anything short of sinning to win people to Christ.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Local leadership<\/strong><br \/>\nWe believe every person needs a local church. \u00a0Hear what I am saying, not what I&#8217;m not saying. \u00a0Everyone needs a local church, but not just any church will do. \u00a0You see not to get too deep, if you want deep visit my <a href=\"http:\/\/nolongercommon.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">nolongercommon.com blog site<\/a>, \u00a0the <a href=\"http:\/\/bible.com\/116\/1co.12.12-21.nlt\" target=\"_blank\">fellowship of Christ is diverse<\/a>. \u00a0One church does not fit all. \u00a0Our local church is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.churchofthehighlands.com\" target=\"_blank\">Church of the Highlands<\/a>\u00a0where <a href=\"https:\/\/www.churchofthehighlands.com\/about\/pastor\" target=\"_blank\">Chris Hodges <\/a>serves as church leader. \u00a0This is where we physically attend services. \u00a0He brings <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">the seriousness of church<\/span> back to me that I held dear when growing up. \u00a0Pastor Chris reminds us of the importance of church and that we are indeed the church.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Inspiration leadership<\/strong><br \/>\nI&#8217;ve been following this one guy for many years. \u00a0I admire how he makes God attractive. \u00a0He paints God in the appropriate light, good. \u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.joelosteen.com\/Pages\/About.aspx\" target=\"_blank\">Joel Osteen<\/a> makes me proud to be a member of any church. \u00a0A few years ago, Pamela noticed how excited I get when we hear Joel Osteen deliver God\u2019s Word. \u00a0Joel shares God\u2019s goodness and reminds us that He wants nothing but good things for us. \u00a0With such <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">positive teaching<\/span> we decided that we should add him to our list of pastors-church leaders. \u00a0Needless to say, we did and have never looked back.<\/p>\n<p>The purpose of this blog post is not to convince you to follow our pastor(s) or persuade you to attend their churches, but rather to remind you that we all need someone to help guide us on our journey called life. \u00a0Take the examples we&#8217;ve given and use them to make your own.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>It&#8217;s time you define not just the leaders in your life, but the religious leaders for your life, your home, your business. \u00a0Leave me a comment, ask me a question or share your ideas on this topic. \u00a0Let me hear from you.<\/em><\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We\u2019re the Executives Of Our Life Part 3\u00a0\u2013 How Many Pastors Can You Have?
