{"id":717,"date":"2017-01-20T03:00:14","date_gmt":"2017-01-20T09:00:14","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/kerryaclark.com\/?p=717"},"modified":"2017-01-19T20:51:40","modified_gmt":"2017-01-20T02:51:40","slug":"physical-fitness-plan","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.kerryaclark.com\/blog\/physical-fitness-plan\/","title":{"rendered":"Our Body Needs A Physical Fitness Plan"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Three Fitness Plans You Don&#8217;t Want to Live Without &#8211; Part 1<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This is an introduction to a fitness area that most often goes overlooked. \u00a0I believe this fitness area, which I&#8217;m holding off on naming, is the key to all other fitness areas. \u00a0But first let&#8217;s discuss the two most common. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Our Body Needs A Physical Fitness Plan<br \/>\n<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You&#8217;re most familiar with having a physical fitness plan. \u00a0Especially during the 1st of any year, it&#8217;s common conversation everywhere you go. \u00a0In the office, people are talking about hitting the gym and joining some fitness club. \u00a0At home, you might be discussing your new year&#8217;s resolution-getting into shape-with a spouse. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Quite frankly, one of the things I hate to hear the most is another new year&#8217;s resolution. \u00a0I believe if you&#8217;re going to do something, it doesn&#8217;t take changing calendar years to make that happen.<\/p>\n<p><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-719 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/kerryaclark.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/20170120-TIF-SM-Our-Body-Needs-A-Physical-Fitness-Plan-400x400.png?resize=400%2C400\" alt=\"20170120 TIF SM - Our Body Needs A Physical Fitness Plan\" width=\"400\" height=\"400\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.kerryaclark.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/20170120-TIF-SM-Our-Body-Needs-A-Physical-Fitness-Plan.png?resize=400%2C400&amp;ssl=1 400w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.kerryaclark.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/20170120-TIF-SM-Our-Body-Needs-A-Physical-Fitness-Plan.png?resize=300%2C300&amp;ssl=1 300w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.kerryaclark.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/20170120-TIF-SM-Our-Body-Needs-A-Physical-Fitness-Plan.png?resize=100%2C100&amp;ssl=1 100w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.kerryaclark.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/20170120-TIF-SM-Our-Body-Needs-A-Physical-Fitness-Plan.png?resize=600%2C600&amp;ssl=1 600w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.kerryaclark.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/20170120-TIF-SM-Our-Body-Needs-A-Physical-Fitness-Plan.png?resize=150%2C150&amp;ssl=1 150w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.kerryaclark.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/20170120-TIF-SM-Our-Body-Needs-A-Physical-Fitness-Plan.png?resize=768%2C768&amp;ssl=1 768w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.kerryaclark.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/20170120-TIF-SM-Our-Body-Needs-A-Physical-Fitness-Plan.png?w=800&amp;ssl=1 800w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 400px) 100vw, 400px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>For example, Pamela and I decided to have a regular physical fitness plan. \u00a0My plan consisted of, at a minimum three times per week, a one mile run at 5:00 a.m. around our neighborhood. \u00a0I have fallen in love with these morning runs. \u00a0There are very few, if any, weeks that I miss out on my morning runs. \u00a0These runs have become an important part of my life and are now more than a physical fitness regimen. \u00a0Pamela on the other hand enjoys doing her workouts in our in-home gym, burning it out on the treadmill while reading or watching a video.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A majority of our focus at the end of each year, New Year&#8217;s Eve, is spent reviewing and updating our Family Plan for the upcoming year. \u00a0This year, Pamela and I are incorporating two fitness programs of either the <a href=\"http:\/\/amzn.to\/2iQk31c\" target=\"_blank\">T25<\/a> <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">and\/or the <a href=\"http:\/\/amzn.to\/2k8P05X\" target=\"_blank\">Insanity<\/a> workouts<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, which we&#8217;ve done before\u2026.and it works. \u00a0We started <a href=\"http:\/\/amzn.to\/2k8P05X\" target=\"_blank\">Insanity<\/a> as a result of our God-sons challenging us to the 60 day workout plan. \u00a0To our surprise, it was probably one of the best suggestions to benefit our physical fitness.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>In planning for our year, I have found two, two month spots on our calendar for these extreme workout programs.
