A Problem Most May Not Even Realize We Face

We hope you had a chance to review the article we posted yesterday titled “An Exciting Development.” Pamela and I are starting a “coaching” platform to add value to your life.

Making a difference or adding value is at the core of what we do. In this post, I want to highlight some insights Pamela and I took for granted while adding value to people’s lives. After years of experience, we’ve noticed something important we want to share with each of you.

How do I get from where I am today to where I dream to be?
Let’s address a problem many of us may not realize we face: How do I get from where I am today to where I’ve always dreamed of being? This dream might be to become a writer or to complete a book. I experienced this journey myself; I never thought I could be a writer until I met a man named Fred. He discovered my journals and asked if he could look at them. After reading my writings, he asked, “Koach (that’s what he called me—go figure), what are you going to do with all of this?” I replied that I intended to do something with it one day. Fred then encouraged me, saying, “Koach, you should write a book.” At that moment, I had never considered that I could be an author. It was Fred’s suggestion that inspired me to pursue writing a book.

This interaction illustrates a key to moving from where you are today to achieving your dreams: having someone ask you the right questions, like “What are you going to do?” and “When will you do it?” That’s what we want to offer you. That interaction is the essence of coaching. Although Fred called me his coach (with a “K”), he was actually coaching me, pushing me to the next level.

Perhaps you have a financial goal, such as buying a house or getting a promotion at work. Maybe you have an idea for a product you’d like to create or a business you want to start. You might even be considering a non-profit opportunity or thinking about how to bring your ideas to life. Whatever it is, it’s crucial to have that guiding figure to help you overcome doubts, navigate the first steps, and tackle the mountain of tasks that seem overwhelming. A coach can help you overcome disorganization and the barriers that stand between you and your dreams.

While many refer to this process as mentoring, we prefer coaching. Why? Because coaching is a different animal. Mentoring involves one person sharing their skills and knowledge with another, which is valuable, but coaching takes it further. A coach recognizes the potential in every individual, helping them uncover and maximize their unique talents. Just like an athlete needs a coach to excel, everyone possesses skills that can be developed to foster their ultimate success.

We understand that each individual wants more.
Our aim is to coach out the extraordinary potential in each and every person we encounter. We understand that each individual wants more: more income, more influence, more followers, more life, more ability, and more prestige. They want more joy. They want more peace. They want more financial stability and more income. They want more peace and more patience. They want more. They want more benefits. They want more free time. They want more control. They want all these things, but those things come at a price, and the cost comes in two ways.

1) A person must be able to see that more is possible or that more is available. That’s number one. The average person has no idea that more in their situation or circumstance or in their space is obtainable or even available. So, one, a person has to have vision, eyesight, or the ability to see that more is available.

2) You need someone who will push you. To accomplish the dreams that you have inside of you, you need a push, a shove, so to speak. You need someone who says more is available, and we are going to do just that: push you forward or nudge you to take the necessary steps to pursue the more you envision.
