Whether you want to or not, making a blended family or any family work, takes work. It takes working together. While normal behaviors yield working apart, working together which is rare and uncommon, will produce results that lead to success in families.

In this web-post, we outline where our allies fit within the seven levels of relationships and why having them in the right place is important to making a blended family work.

Regardless of the picture society paints or the instigators who remain, no one is in a war [in the family] that lasts forever. Don’t carry a war on one more day than what’s necessary. End it so that the rebuilding, healing, and progress can occur.
