A Love Affair with My Words – Part 2
Living A Life of Focus – Part 10
How to Create a World You Desire by Using Your Words
In our previous web-post, we gave the concept of how our words have created the world in which we live. The only way to change it (our world that is) is to change the words we choose to use.
The Practice:
With that said…now you’re ready to discuss the impact your words are having in creating the world in which you exist by putting actions into practice.
It’s time to watch the leader, the Creator.
Let’s get serious; your life truly is your business. Let that sink in. If God, the Creator of the universe, gave you a business, how would you run it? I like to think of life as the business God has given us. I’d start by taking a look at how He runs things.
You might not believe this, but you’re doing the same thing God did when He created the Heavens and the Earth. What was that? He talked it through. He said what He wanted to see. Take a look.
- “Then God said, “Let there be light…”
- “Then God said, “Let there be a space between the waters…”
- “Then God said, “Let the land sprout with vegetation…”
- “Then God said, “Let lights appear in the sky…”
- “Then God said, “Let the waters swarm with fish and other life.”
- “Then God said, “Let the earth produce every sort of animal…”
- “Then God said, “Let us make human beings in our image…”
With one eyebrow raised, take a look around and see the world you’ve created for yourself. You’ve been calling your children “bad” and a world of “bad” children has appeared. You’ve been calling your spouse a “lazy bum” or worse and a “lazy bum” or worse has shown up. You’ve been saying you’ll never finish that degree and an unfinished degree keeps showing up. You’ve been saying how you can’t get along with that person and not getting along with that person continues to show up.
I know you want to say you didn’t, but look at your world and think of the words you’ve been using to create the things, problems, challenges, solutions, successes, you’re seeing.
It’s your turn to create with God watching and helping.
If no one has ever read these things to you, you’re missing out. You have to do your life like this. Speak whatever it is you want to see, never speak what you currently see. This is why we have a Family Plan. It’s this plan that keeps us saying, talking about, and discussing what we’re creating. What we’re doing is talking our way through creating our world and it’s working just like we’re saying. So is your life, your business, working just like you’re saying.
You’ve done your creating alone and look at where it’s gotten you. Now let’s do it with help from the One who knows how it’s done. Using the dreams God has planted within you, begin to tell others about it. Start by saying it to yourself. It’s okay if you’re found talking to yourself. If someone asks tell them you’re creating a new world, they couldn’t possibly understand.
It’s your time to teach others how to create with words.
I’m trying my best to make this simple. You never tried to obtain the degree you wanted until you began talking about it. You never obtained the job you have until you started talking about it. Your children didn’t take on that attitude until yours showed up for them through your words.
“…what we now see did not come from anything that can be seen.” – bible.com/116/heb.11.3.nlt
You have to admit that your words are working. When you really take a step back and examine what you’ve been saying, you’ll come to find it equivalent to what you’re seeing. A simple test would be to start saying something entirely different and start to see your life going in a different direction.
Don’t fall into this “normal” trap. Normal people believe they are only saying what they’re living; saying follows the action and results. They fail to realize that the results actually follow the talking.
Today is Friday!
You may blow this off as pie-in-the-sky type thinking, and that’s okay. This is a law that was established prior to the Earth being inhabited. It worked then and it’s still working for us today. Unfortunately it’s working to most people’s disadvantage (51% or more). You have a normal life simply because you’ve been speaking normal words. If you want an above normal life, you’ll need to speak above normal words. If you don’t believe me, try it and see.
Your words are creating your world, so it’s time to have a new love affair with the words that come from your mouth.
Until next week, share this on your social networks and as always thanks for visiting Kerry A. Clark & Co.
